Durango Resources receives rail support request from CN

2015-08-05 14:24 ET - News Release

Ms. Marcy Kiesman reports

CN RAILWAY CONTACTS DURANGO

Durango Resources Inc. has received an unsolicited request from Canadian National Railway Company concerning CN rail support for the limestone project from the CN rail small-to-medium-sized British Columbia customers support group. The Mayner's Fortune limestone property near Terrace, B.C., was announced on July 30, 2015, via SEDAR.

Marcy Kiesman, chief executive officer of Durango, stated: "Durango is encouraged by the initial data from the historical reporting of Mayner's Fortune limestone and the logistics of product transportation is key. The railway access ensures both safe and efficient transport, and Durango is delighted to have dialogue and support with CN Rail from the project inception."

About the Mayner's Fortune property

The Mayner's Fortune limestone property is located in the Skeena mining division approximately 7.5 kilometres southwest of Terrace, B.C., and four kilometres west of Lakelse Lake on Lakelse River. The property is located less than 50 kilometres away from the proposed LNG (liquefied natural gas) site in Kitimat, B.C., and the limestone occurrence is located on the CN railway line that runs between Terrace and Kitimat.

In June, 2015, the Shell consortium LNG project partners received full environmental approvals for the $40-billion LNG project in Kitimat. Public information on the LNG Canada consortium can be viewed on the LNG Canada website. The full news stories can be viewed on-line when searching British Columbia LNG news in Google search.

Durango will be hosting an information session about the project and the technical team on the LNG opportunity in the coming weeks. If you wish to attend, please visit the company's website to register and sign up for breaking news on the limestone project.

We seek Safe Harbor.
