Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:RE:Flow-through Shares

RE:RE:RE:Flow-through SharesThey are same shares of the company the only difference is tax implication & they are issued at a premium. After they are issued they trade like ordinary shares under the same symbol.

Broker 13 Just bought a big block of shares moved the price from $2.59 to $2.70 in minutes. Little bit of short covering. The regular HFT who usually trade with a lower bias are trading with higher bias buying more shares than selling. They are usually on both sides of the book market book working on small spreads.

The buy back would make some short sellers nervious. If done propely it can provide support to the stock. Compnay should support $2.00 price initally. Becasue under $2.00 the stock is not marginable & may result in forced selling.

The day SGY starts buying back. I will trade with the buyback program. TMX will list the buy back / insider trades on daily basis.
