RE:Sad commentary on investors acumen

RE:Sad commentary on investors acumen I tend to agree with you from an investing point of view.
I look at companies and decide in my own mind if they have something that would make them attractive.
Ranting about management and how the SP is being manipulated has no intrest to me.
I believe that BBD will pull out of it's funk. It has world class products and is a Canadian legend.
I believe that the C Series will be sucessful, I believe the Company will survive. Am I sure I will make money on my investment, not realy, however I will see it through.
The down side has become quite small, the upside is still there.
I would like to see them get a fair shake in the press, but news especially bad news attracts more attention.
I have about 2% of my portfolio in BBD and BBD.PR.C and I am willing to let it ride to whatever conclusion may happen.
As to why stay with it I find it exciting following their big gamble with the C Series. It is by far the the most exciting new aircraft since the 787.
Also aviation has been  a good life for me and although retired this gives my some contact with the industry.
Cheers and thanks for your thought provoking post.

Sorry spelling is not my strong suit and my spell checker doesn't work on this site.

Haven't the posters heard something about cutting losses and letting profits run. Why getting stuck with something that has not worked and has no gains to show but aggravation, imagined or real.

Other than giving them many opportunities for  meaningless ranting,  what have any terrible actingstocks done for the many posters??  And worse  some lonesome poster or posters ranting,  in their own minds,  what passes as analysis  (how many of those posters really know anything about avaiation business ....etc) Time to move on...
