Q re payout ratio

Q re payout ratio

I’ve been accumulating NIF.UN shares for a year or so and plan to buy more when I can. I’ve followed the story in general terms and can’t understand why it hasn’t received wider prominence. Whenever I get wobbly about owning NIF.UN, given the story (and the part Glencore may or may not play in it) and the exceedingly high yield, I just pull up the informative posts that I’ve bookmarked from this forum for reassurance. My thanks to those contributors - you know who you are. I wonder if I could ask those same contributors one question regarding payout ratio. TDW has it currently at a whopping 3,963.21%. Now, I know that there are various ways to calculate payout ratio according to company and the circumstances it is in, but that’s about all I know. Any informed commentary about the TDW figure would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance, es.
