News

NewsAfter reading the news yesterday, I understand more why the stock price is at 17 cents. So, the rainy season was a lot longer than expected thanks to all the great polluters of this planet and the impact they have on the climate change. Second, we all know that the economic situation is not very good in Brazil nowadays. So, I guess, the government does not receive as much revenues as it should and that reflects on the amount of money and the timing of distribution of the incentives that farmers were supposed to receive. No incentives, less money to buy fertilizers. Really a pain in the neck for Dusolo who is a start up. The product is there but the problem is to sale it. So, the company got a bridge loan for three months. Hopefully that will help to keep the company going until more sales contract come in when the farmers will get their subsidies (if not already received; a question that I asked to the company yesterday and that I am still waiting for the answer).
If that bridge loan is not sufficient, the company will have to go to the market again and of course create dilution. Is it possible that the company decide to sell itself to an interested party at the end because of a lack of financing? Future will tell. Too bad because we have here all the aspects needed for a success story but certain elements were not expected (the weather and the economic problem of Brazil). Let us hope for the best now and for more and more sales before the rainy season starts over again.
