why i sold cpg..i am going to be more clear in my statement

why i sold cpg..i am going to be more clear in my statementi sold 2300 cpg at 16.44 from my rrsp account...this gave me approx 37800$.cash which will deposit into my rrsp  on thursday when the sell clears...then i am taking out the cash [ along with some other cash and will dergister it..pay the witholding tax..30% here in quebec for the higher amount..and have it deposited to my margin account..then i will watch the oil price and cpg stock looking for an opportunity to buy in again....as i believe ..long term this is a good company...i will keep in mind that oil price can go lower and stay there...for how long,i have no idea...predictions are not easy..especially about the future....the reference to tax loss selling has nothing to do with the rrsp....it refers to the future when i buy cpg with my margin account...i can buy cpg with some cash and some margin to juice the return...i will get the divident tax credit for the div....as long as there is a dividend...and if i buy cpg and it later turns sour...i can sell at a loss and have a tax loss to be used against other gains........please this is for your info only...i am not suggesting or recommending this approach or strategy to anyone...i would suggest refering to my previous posts on cpg..or pwt...or ry..to see if i have consistenly offered straight up info..without once referring to others on this board as morons or jerks...whether they merit it or not !...good hunting to all..
