Your post is too rational for most of these so called experts. Lost in all their expert discussion is the fact that U.S. supply (at least according to the EIA, if they can be believed at any time) fell again by 48k bbls last week. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/pet_sum_sndw_dcus_nus_w.htm That means a decline of 200K in the space of a month but this was not even mentioned in most headlines. Also, inventories include imports which rose last week which factors into inventories.
