This isn't good since Rodney turned the Crocodile operation around and now we are left with the Newmarket opportunists with nothing but their big egos to make money for shareholders :-( Newmarket Gold Announces Management Changes With COO Stepping Down By Kitco News Wednesday August 19, 2015 10:49 Newmarket Gold (TSX: NMI) says its Australian senior operating team will report directly to Douglas Forster, president and chief executive officer, starting in September after Rodney Lamond advised the company that he will be stepping down as chief operating officer. Lamond served the company exceptionally well over the last two years as president and CEO of Newmarket's predecessor company, Crocodile Gold, and more recently as COO of Newmarket, the company says. The company is searching for a new chief operating officer, who is expected to be based in Australia full time. Newmarket Gold is a Canadian-listed gold mining and exploration company with three 100% owned operating mines across Australia.

Gee.. Stew... you sure are negative.. saying someone dumps 1.5 million share when the price rises 3 cents... I hope they dump more shares tomorrow and the prices rises even more.... LOL.

I kinda thought we might have rising volume, but like you said, must be someone dumping shares... Are you gonna dump your shares soon,,,  I hope....

Yes,, Rodney did turn this company around and I think he was well rewarded with performance shares... (he is Canadian, heh,, and he wants to return home). But look closely at the press release and notice the following sentence..

The company is searching for a new chief operating officer, who is expected to be based in Australia full time.

The big swinging dicks as you call them are not going to try to fill Rodney's shoes by themselves. They will be actively searching for a new COO who will be based in Australia full time.. I hope they find a suitable candidate, and with the growth NMI is experiencing I believe they will be able to chose from amoung the very best.

Anyways, Stew.. guess your glass is 1/2 empty,,, while mine is 1/2 full,, and I soon expect it to be overflowing!!!!
