Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

What happened to CP Memo start buying today agressively ?

What happened to CP Memo start buying today agressively ?A review of SGY trading activity indicates that buyback that buy back may not have began. The trading is not yet done for the day there are 2 & half hours of trading left. Will broker # 11 arrive before end of trading ?

SGYs broker # II Macquarie is missing in action unless he is using Anonymous to hide trades. Anyway Anonymous did not buy very many shares today. Is SGY using a different broker ?

If it is Anonymous then it is very low profile so far & not aggressive at all. At this pace he is not be buying the quota limit of half million shares per day today. Anonymous has a small buy program nothing exciting.

What if Anonymous buying is not part of buyback . Then the question is what happened to the CP Memo : Start buying today aggressively. Is it lost in the mail or some trading desk sleeping on it. If buyback does not commence today it hardly matters much except that but CP will look bad in front of share holders.

Anyway after the close of trading we will know if any shares were bought by SGY. They should appear at the TMX website under insider trades. Do do not see any reason why SGY wants to hide trades under Anonymous. In a few days most traders will figure it out the buying pattern becuase all trades will be reported.
