9) Caterpillar and Deere - huge bellwether companies
They provide large machinery and equipment globally. Lowing of their sales is usually a strong indication of slowdown in the global economy.

Caterpillar has now seen 32 consecutive months of declined global retail sales - over a year greater than the decline seen during the 2008 financial crisis.

Deere just came out with poor numbers and forcasts, and a substantial buld up in inventory (from poor sales).
