Good heavens, blessings. You've been a member of Stockhouse since late 2002, and you're still saying that you have only a " limited bit of knowledge"? SlowLearners"R"Us, hmmmm?
This just might be a bit of an expensive learning lesson for you, blessings. Aweel, after you've lost your capital and can't count it, you can always count your blessing (which are?).
As to Sprott...heh, heh. In 2013 he predicted gold would be at $2,400 (U.S.) in 2015.
Since 2013, Sprott Physical Silver (PHS.U) has dropped from $14 to just under $6 (shed 57 %); Sprott Physical Gold (PHY.U) has dropped from $15 to $9.60 (shed 36 %); Sprott Physical Platinum (PPT.U) has dropped from $10.75 to $6.80 (shed 37 %): Sprott Stratigic fixed (SFI.UN) has dropped from $9 to $5.65 (shed 37.2 %); Sprott Resource (SCP) has dropped from $4.75 to 60 cents (shed 87 %) and Sprott Inc (SII) has dropped from $4.40 to 2.20 (shed 50 %).
Sedi says that Eric Sprott held 102 million Sprott Inc shares at 01-01-2013. He sold 34 million at $3 and $2.70 in 2014 and there's a paper loss of over $139 million on the remaining 60-odd million shares
. He sold 4,963,000 Sprott Physical Silver in 2013 (the remaining 426 K have a paper loss of $3.4 million) and his 7,018,000 Sprott Resource shares are worth $29 million less today than they were in 2013.
Ouchie, bouchie. Those numbers ain't exactly blessings, are they?
Nothing to sneeze at (bless you), IMO.
