RE:RE:RE:Who is up for change ? Time for a straw poll. Gold, Salmon & Icahn,
First, look at the track record of this Board. It's terrible. And, it doesn't matter who's to blame. We don't have an anti-mining govt. We can tell that by the number of mines that have been approved (incl restart of Mt Polley). What I'm concerned about is if there is a change to an anti-mining govt and we're still prodding through this by the next election. And, let's suppose there's some personal vendetta against the Board from either FN or the govt. Tells me we need new blood. We need to make positive steps NOW. I don't believe another court battle is going to solve anything. Only draw this thing out longer.
If Icahn thinks like Carl, I'm all for him because the real Carl Icahn gets it done. He makes sure the company Board's are sensitive to shareholder concerns. And, he makes everyone money, including Board members. So, if Icahn just bought a bunch of shares on the cheap and now, he's wanting to figure out how to maximize his return, more power to him. If he wins, I win. And, so do all of us. If that means shaking up the Board, "Let's get er done!" I don't want to be yapping on this message board 2 years from now. This isn't personal, this is business.
