RE:RE:oil manOil man - You'd have credibility if you weren't pumping PGD with your posts. You like to look at the numbers, so let's do so. PGD has 3.24 million tonnes at 2.58 carats per tonne valued at $213 per carat for value in the ground of $1.82 billion. KDI 12 million tonnes at a 2 carats per tonne. If the value is the same as Gaucho ($150 per carat) they'd have value in the ground of $3.6 billion. So 2X the value of PDG. KDI is on the doorstep of Gaucho so will likely cost about $600 million to build. PGD is at the far end of Baffin so will likely cost $1 billion to build. De Beers exited the PGD option within months of KDI's first results. I reckon they know what they're doing.
