MBAC's asset portfolio includes the Santana Phosphate Project and the Araxa Rare Earth/Niobium/Phosphate project, both development stage projects. The Company operates the Itafos Arraias Single Super Phosphate (SSP) Operations which is wholly owned by the Company’s subsidiary, Itafos Mineracao Ltda. (Itafos). The production facility comprises a beneficiation plant, a sulphuric acid plant, an SSP acidulation plant and a granulation plant and is estimated to have production capacity of approximately 500,000 tonnes of SSP per annum. The Company also produces and sells excess sulphuric acid as a by-product of the SSP production process.
They were supposedly in disscussions to sell Araxa for over a year! and Santana is supposed to be a world class phosphate property.
Your assests are ony worth what people are willing to pay for them and it looks like not much.
Despite what Old_Dog tells you this is a fire sale - Because it is they don't want to give the assets away for nothing hence the recapitilzation plan i.e. give it away for nothing to someone else that will hugely benefit alongside management. aka BA.
