With a deal bwetween LRE & MIE so imminent why would Franklin now exit at a very huge loss? Unless they have some kind of strategic plan in place I would say they are fools. The deal between LRE & MIE is going through & will easily get the necessary votes to approve the deal. It's just a matter of time. MIE wants a foothold in the Cdn. oil & gas industry & for 200 mil - its a steal (just think how much it would have cost for this kind of deal last July).

Just recently on BNN they were discussing how nearly everything is represented by totally unrealistic numbers on paper concerning  the stock market & how it really does not reflect reality. In fact, they alluded to the fact that the stock market is just a casino gambling of bluffs (kinda reminds you of shorting - just an elusion of make believe shares affecting share prices).

The emphasis being, the market does not reflect true values & at these artificially low prices it is a buy & money to be made.
