Agreed Wirtz, this is particularly significant for NMX, with full mine permit approval expected tomorrow because:
  • Provides a stark indication that the race to secure lithium supply is moving faster than anticipated.
     
  • Tesla is prepared to source from junior explorers rather than the established monopoly of lithium suppliers.
  • Immediate proximity to Nevada Giga-factory is no longer an overwhelming advantage.  Sonora deposit is in Mexico.
  • With full mine permit approval expected tomorrow, NMX is at a much more advanced stage of development.  BCN PFS not expected until 2016!

I am also invested in BCN, but their combined market cap with JV partner REM of approx $300m makes NMX's $45m look like a bargain in my opinion!
