Lumber prices? Why are they so hard to find?

Lumber prices? Why are they so hard to find?
Lumber prices? Whay are they so hard to find? I notice the quote we see now is for November's 2X4's.
Finding the prices for dementional lumber and speciality grades od lumber is hard to find in th public domain. Has anyone a site that posts the bid /ask on lumber other then 2X4's which are being over produced from the large availablity of smaller logs in North America? They break oil and gas prices in the public domain. We should be able to get quotes for the breakdown of lumber prices in the public domain. maybe Western could post them on their site? I suspect they are much higher then we are led to believe. Western is still running their China products mill. They would have shut that down if it was not profitable fom my understanding of what they said in a news release or conference call when they restarted it. Anyway I added today at $1.82 regardless of the lack of information on pricing..
