RE:RE:What is a Distributed Antenna System (DAS)?I agree davidKursu,
BTW, in case some didnt know McWane owns Zinwave. Not sure if it's ever been mentioned, but Zinwave was bought out by McWane I believe in early 2014.
As for the tool who stated WiFi3 doesn't work with DAS, here's what Zinwave is doing with WiFi3 at present. I'm sure we'll be hearing news about new installations in the near future in my opinion.

.......
As a strategic partner, Zinwave will market and sell Zinwave's WiFi3(TM) powered products for DAS applications. The new series of UNIaccess products will include Edgewater Wireless' patented high capacity WiFi3(TM) technology, within its unique wideband active DAS solution.
"We've solved the biggest challenge for high density networks - CAPACITY." said Ian Sugarbroad, CEO of Zinwave "Including Edgewater's high density WiFi3(TM) technology as part of our integrated unified communications solution answers this challenge. We already have a huge CAPEX advantage with our UNItivity solution and with the addition of WiFi3(TM), we now have an even better technology advantage for network operators with high capacity network requirements"
Zinwave's wideband in-building wireless and IP coverage system, UNItivity, supports any combination of services between 150MHz-2700MHz on a single hardware layer, regardless of protocol or modulation scheme. It is also the only system to support multiple FDD and TDD LTE services simultaneously across any spectrum allocated globally......
Zinwave is a subsidiary of McWane Inc (www.mcwane.com) a privately held US manufacturing company and owners of a global group of wireless technology companies.
