RE:enviro news on florabank etc.This scientist, Moore, joined SFU in 2011.
His first major reports against the LNG terminals came out around 2013. They were based on Petronas dreging etc. the bottom of the Flora banks. Apparently the bottom has dangerous chemicals from earlier industry and disturbing the bottom may release these chemicals etc.
This is why Petronas adapted and came up with
..."the company says the high-elevation design of its jetty-trestle over the critical Flora Bank will minimize the aquatic impact. The peer-like structure would be six to 11 metres above high water, creating no loss of light or water flow for migrating fish..."
So, why would this new attempt/study have any influence on the enviro decision except that the Fed's may have to consider it.
