CARLISLE ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF JAMIE PORTER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Carlisle Goldfields Ltd. has appointed Jamie Porter, CPA, CA, to the board of directors, subject to Toronto Stock Exchange approval. Mr. Porter is the chief financial officer of Alamos Gold and has over 15 years of progressive experience in the mining industry, having started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP managing audits of public companies. In 2003, Mr. Porter joined a gold producer based in Central America and held the roles of controller and corporate secretary. In 2005, Mr. Porter joined Alamos as controller, was promoted to vice-president of finance in 2008 and to chief financial officer in 2011. Mr. Porter is also a director of Canadian Feed the Children, a registered charity in Canada. Mr. Porter replaces Chris Richter, who resigned his position as director on Sept. 4, 2015.
Carlisle's president and chief executive officer, Abraham Drost, commented: "We thank Chris Richter for his service on the Carlisle board and wish him all the best with his new venture. We welcome Jamie Porter to the Carlisle board and look forward to a productive future with our joint venture partner Alamos Gold."
