Would not FCU be left in a vulnerable position and become a lone sitting duck ? If a hostile bid popped up for even less $'s and with little or no further defenses and no protection it seems to me that FCU would have to send notice to surrender or be wiped out. Failure to do so would not be an option. If the proposed merger is shot down then IMO the proposition immediately becomes invalid. yes? no? maybe?
