RE:RE:RE:RE:Rush KIM5In places with regolith (soil) diamonds are concentrated on top of the kimberlite/lamproite. The Marsfontein dike in south Africa was running at 3000 carats per hundred ton (CPHT) at surface only.
Unfortunately glaciers have stripped this enrichment away at chidliak. We assume the same facies (distinct geological parts) have homogeneous diamond grades. What we do have is kim 5. This could be our natural enrichment zone at surface that helps get a quick return from the mine for little cost.
