RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:OPEC could meet to cut productionit's the oposite really. OPEC realises that if they cut,  US production will consume their market share and oil will eventually go back to these prices. OPEC has to fight this battle now or be stuck with lower market share and low oil prices a year later. Short term pain for long term gain.
The Saudis went into this knowing that oil prices would be driven lower, they have invested accordingly, I think they have probably planned for low oil prices into mid 2016.
