RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Let me sum this upGreat insight. I do agree that some guidance is missing, namely how exactly they believe they'll turn the acquisition of DivX into a profit. As far as how they handled the NHL news.. I believe they did it exactly as they should. They did halt the trading until they could release further details clarifying they didn't think it would affect this year's growth, and that they were growing in all other aspects of the company. That leads me to believe they didn't foresee that the market would punish the SP so hard from a single kind-of-not-so-positive announcement. Why then, would they not let the SP go down and add to their position at such a ridiculously low level? Do they care about retail investors? Probably not so much. They certainly however create value for anyone who's looking to invest into this company. As far as I'm concerned, they've been very communicative and their announcements are always prompt and well detailed. It's pretty easy to research this company and see that there's really nowhere to go but forward.
Do remember also, that we've yet to see the end-story on the NHL deal. If anything, it does show (as Neulion specified in their post-halt announcement) that they created so much value for their customer (NHL) that another company was willing to invest 100MIL just for the same rights Neulion had. I've personally seen the NHL loss as nothing but positive news, looking forward at least. It does suck for those that invested at a higher SP, but it's an amazing opportunity to invest right now.
