RE:sick and tired of SVL management

RE:sick and tired of SVL managementHey bluesea,

You really have to lighten up on management! I've owned SVL since 2003, and continued to add right into the Fall of 2008. I was disappointed at the outset, but have softened a lot since the takeover announcement.

Most spec miners on the VSE would be history after 12 years, but our management team did a pretty good job of advancing us through the exploration and development stages to production. Yes they're stepping back now and letting a solid producer take over, but let's be realistic ... FR is at least a 5 bagger from here, whereas I don't think SVL would have made it on its own to the $5+ range.

I could have likely unloaded my sizable position above $2 in 2014 or early 2015, but believed at the time that SVL would be an ideal takeover target. My gut feel is that FR and SVL are a good match, and the potential going forward is exceptional.

Your frustration is understandable. All I can suggest is stay positive, and whatever your ACPS, you'll do very well. As I said, I was disappointed initially also, but after reviewing everything going on with the markets, am convinced now we'll be in good shape.

Cheers,

Brit
