RE:What market cap should/will be I'm not the type to put a $$ figure on what sp or market cap should/will be but. Yes I agree the market cap should be more than it is now. I think it's just the risk of this contract closing that is keeping some investors out and it down a bit. I personally feel it's close but as we all know Government money is slow money. Approve this, sign that, blah blah blah....So we gotta stay patient.
Let's look at a few reasons why i think the market cap should be more
1: 20 year SDI with an initial 2 year $125 Million dollar contract with $50 million or greater for 18 years of additional maintanence.
2: The talk of an additional equal sized contract.
3: History of work with Dewberry(huge firm with many links to big governement contracts), Alaska, and the United States Geological Survey.
4: Technology, data and assests that are probably worth more than the Market cap is now.
5: Publically traded since 1997.
6: All time share price high of $10.50 in late 2007(Revenue for Q3 prior to that rise to 10.50 was 14.3 million. The Intial 2 year of the SDI alone would bring us to 15.62 million a quarter on the basis of $125 mil divided by 8 quarters)
7. Subscription based services are newer for them. From what I remember reading have very big profit margins in this area. They are also expense, go to Intermaps website and check out https://store.intermap.com/MapShop.aspx?GeoLocation=World prices for access to their data range from $100 - $300 from what I've seen per county, 50 states times a bunch of countys in each state is a lot of $$$$.
8. Overall upward trend in the chart since the contract was announced.
Anyway good times to be in this one for sure. GLTA
