RE:RE:RE:RE:Perception..."A company buys back it's own stock when it has no better use for the cash."

Where the heck did you come up with that? PSEC is buying back stock because they see a disconnect between stock price and BV. Trading 25% below BV. Surge Energy is trading half BV and is doing a buyback instead of paying down debt. Articles have been written about the number of companies doing buybacks because the price is so low. All of these companies have no better place to use cash? Seems unlikely. The assertion that we will fall back as soon as buyback ends indicates you think they would bid the stock up. My premise all along was that they simply sit on bid till they get no more then move up. It is simply used to get the manipulators out and support stock price. No one said run stock up. Trading less than half BV says they are either going down the tubes or someone is playing with stock. I don't think they are going down. And the assertion that it is crazy to buyback stock they issued at this price or lower is amuzing. You must hate loans. There they are sending money to a bank they just got money from plus interest. The bottom line is that when they did the PP they needed money. They got it and now have excess cash in budget from paying off loan. Use a portion of the monthly savings to shore up stock price and pay down debt with some or whatever needs doing, mill, drilling, etc. How long do you  want to watch this same penny flip go on?
