RE:RE:RE:I had a dream last nightGV, sadly I agree.
I am absolutely thrilled by the science. I do believe rvx-208 is a blockbuster. But Don can present at the Harvard Club and all of the prestigious alumni groups in the USA and it will create some interest but
without NASDAQ it means nothing to potential USA based shareholders. RVX needs the credibility, access and presence of a NASDAQ listing. This could have been achieved in the past with the share prices well above $3 but it was not a priority.
However some investors may pick up on this jewel but will not be comfortable with the USA based markets it trades on. It really does look like it has no credibility and even though the TSX is solid it does not have credibility in the USA. Actually, one would think that the price of the Canadian $ should be driving this stock much higher.
I do believe there are a number of key forces that over the long run but before the end of the trial may gradually build some equity growth;
- Continued discoveries of the MOA of rvx-208. This will cause BP to possibly take notice. The more this picture is understood the higher the market's belief in BoM success will grow and then the heard mentality may develop.
- Continued presentations to the investment communities and scientific communities throughout the world.
- The next regional deal.
- The start of BoM.
- Confirmation of an orphan trial.
- The continued momentum of the science of epigenetics in the scientific communities worldwide. SCience evolves slowly but epigenetics is becoming a hot field and momentum will build.
- Acceptance of RVX research papers in prestigious journals.
- Tangible evidence of discussions with BP.
- Consistent and relevant communications to the financial community.
- Coverage by respected investment groups.
- Recognition of the talent pool on the steering committee. These people would not be there is they thought this drug did not have serious potential to reduce reduce MACE and have many other powerful benefits.
So all of the news is really good but as an investor you have to ask yourself "should I go in now or just wait 6 months?". Well, that depends on the individual but so far I think many are just sitting on the sidelines because 2.5 years is a very long time.
Best of luck to you. I'm still long but I do feel I could pull my money out and come back in in 8 months or so. I do hope I'm wrong but based on the history I think I'm right.
Cheers
