India will be ready for 5G technology by 2020, given the government's focus on initiatives like Smart Cities and Digital India, says Arun Bansal, head of Business Unit Radio at Ericsson, the world's largest telecom gear maker. In an interview with Danish Khan, Bansal says India will need 5G capability in its telecom networks to support these projects as the current 3G and 4G networks are not fully capable of handling the demand.
