RE:RE:Funny ThingUsd on the basis of the DXY rallied alongside gold on Friday, maybe adding more validity to the move. I certainly did not expect the usd to strengthen but it did for some reason. I think the move down in base metals was driven completely by perception that because the fed didn't raise, they must be concerned about the global economic health or potentially know something the rest of us dont. When the smoke clears, everyone should realize that not raising is stimulate of growth and inflation. Regardless, I think commodity prices are as much about supply distruction from low prices as they are about growth at this point. In these terms, I think copper, zinc, and oil are all in the process of turning higher. In a perfect world, maybe some of those outdated commodity prices in nav calculations will be closer to reality by Q3 2016. My two cents.....
