Vein dimensions & mining
Vein dimensions & mining https://media3.marketwire.com/docs/1026003_Fig.jpg
The 26.2m length intersection on hole MO-15-14 is between 6.4m and 32.6m.
Does this suggest that the liklihood is that this vein could be either:-
- the top slice of a 26.2m wide orebody going underground at an angle, say, 45%, or alternatively,
- could it be a lateral orebody between 6.4m and 32.6m underground, which would provide th eprospect of open pit or underground ramp mining.
The metanor geologists most probably have an idea what the geology of the area would produce.
It is withing 1.5km form the BL mineshaft and therefore SSL qualify for 20% of any gold mined from this location, without being required to make any further capital contribution.
However, if the resource had been more than 1.5Km from the BL shaft, then SSL could still have qualified for 20% of gold ounces - but they would have had to contribute 20% of the capital costs of mining infrastructure.
