RE:RE:Also this 1.26 ratioJust for the record, I haven't changed suddenly from anything to anything. Rather have been posting considerations to think about and to see what sensible posters might add. Acusing me of promanagement DML which is untrue just adds nothing, because if there is one thing for certain, I never was pro management of DML!

I told the chat I had given both DML and FCU an earful about 2 weeks ago. Actually I did it with FCU about August  1, and Ross put together his blog perhaps as a result on why the deal in early August.

Around about 1967, I helped evaluate nuclea fuel contracts for the old Ont Hydro, and if I recall correctly, we bought 1000 tons from DML, and 5800 from Rio Algom, about 12 million lbs, to make sure we had uranium lined up for Pickering units  coming on line, and Bruce units.

THe DML uranium came from Elliot Lake I think, and DML didn't exactly win too many friends looking after the closure there. DML got a 2nd life later on, but never really built themselves up like Cameco.

THis deal with FCU I guess is the 3rd time to try and re-invent themselves, but with FCU management. Doesn't make any sense, the methodology that was used..

Interesting that suddenly @sudzie has changed from the pro-management/pro-DML takeover view (and from siding with Quakes).

Vote AGAINST!
