RE:Huge jump in short interest....explains the drop It could also be that strategic alternatives are none.  The company has a lot of debt.  The notes have been trading near the lows 30 cents on the Dollar.  

You can shake out long term holders by shorting a few shares at 0.25 cents but selling bonds at 30 cents to the dollar doesn't make sense.  The alternative maybe the company requires debt forgiveness or better terms.  That won't bold well for shareholders.
