The La Encantada Silver Mine is an underground mine located in the northern Mexico State of Coahuila, 708 km northeast of Torreon.

I am not sure why market conditions would lead to suspending the decision. After all (unless I am wrong) it was would involve dividing the shares cross existing shareholders. Maybe they felt that a lot of people would sell putting a downward pressure on the share price.

Thanks for your email below.  Unfortunately, First Majestic has temporally suspended the spinout of First Mining Finance to existing shareholder of First Majestic Silver due to market conditions. Our plan is to revisit the decision in early to mid-2016 and hopefully it’s a better time to do so.
