Its Carmen de Andacollo is located in the Coquimbo Region of central Chile at an elevation of 1,000 meters, approximately 350 kilometers north of Santiago. Its Galore Creek is located within the territory of the Tahltan in northwestern British Columbia, approximately 150 kilometers northwest of Stewart.

RE:Will TCK test '09 lows?

if my memory serves me right, teck got into trouble last time because of their coal purchases in southern BC. They paid a huge amount for them and couldn't re-pay the loans when the market tanked. They are in different circumstances now and have plenty of wiggle room. The CEO is the same guy that was in charge in 2008 and knows well the dangers of too much debt. Teck is a huge company with some of the best properties in North (and South) America, they own electrical generation, a large smelter, lots of land along with huge mineral deposits.Teck is not a two bit outfit trying to sell shopping coupons on the internet, they actually make stuff people need.
