``Pet Rocks`` are booming in BrazilRelentlessly, for 4-5 years now, Wall Street and the Mainstream media have been bashing gold. Aside from the paper price management / manipulation at the Comex and LBMA.
Some have said that gold was once valuable, but that was 5,000 years ago. It is nothing but a barbarous relic today.
They have said that gold has been in a 5,000 year bubble and does not represent anything. They said that it does not pay dividends and does not provide yield, thus is worthless.
For years they said that gold is just a rock. It just sits there.
Lately, they expanded on their rock description. They started saying that gold is nothing but a ``pet rock``.
Prior to the last month or so, the negative sentiment on gold has been like nothing on earth for ages. Almost everyone was bashing. It was the new craze. Nothing has been hated this much for ages.
Hopefully, people in Brazil and Russia didn`t listen to Wall Street, Western Governments and the Mainstreet Media.
