Dennis McKnight, President, CEO, & Director
Mr. McKnight has been the President of Hi Ho Silver Resources Inc. since May 31, 2011 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is an entrepreneur, working in the finance and investment industry since 1995. His experience includes raising capital, management, research, marketing strategies and public relations with a large client base including brokers at local Canadian and international firms.
He served as the Chairman and Director of Finance of Highbank Resources Ltd. since December 15, 2004. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Castle Mortgage Corporation and Castle Investments Inc., from October 1999 to December 2004. He served as General Sales Manager for Maple Ridge MotorSports from May 1995 to October 1999 and was Proprietor of Castle Investments from June 1993 to December 2004. He served as the Chairman and President of Castle Mortgage Corp. He served as the Chairman of Castle Investments Inc.
He has been a Director of Veritas Resources Corp since March 27, 2013 and Mineral Hill Industries Ltd. since March 27, 2013 and Hi Ho Silver Resources Inc. since May 10, 2011. He served as a Director of TrueStar Petroleum Corp., since September 2007. TrueStar rased $21 million with Fox Davies of London, and $15 million from MacQuarrie Bank in Australia.
Mr McKnight was in charge of MTNs (Medium Term Notes) and Triple A Government Guaranteed Bonds , with World Bank. He dealt with Mr. Li , otherwise known as Li-Ka-Shing for several years. Invested into a glass factory with JV with Hutt Traders Group ( a $50 billion enterprise) ,until the death of the President of Hutt Traders Group.
Assisted Mr Li establish his connections with Mohawk Oil and Husky Oil, which he took over.
Worked with Stig Hermansen, and Kjell Blumfeldt with Financia.SA out of Zurich. Also worked with C.A.S.A.B. who together with Financia.SA managed many Insurance Funds.
Peter Collier, Director
Previous experience includes product development and marketing manager with over thirty-five years of success in other industries. Mr. Collier has extensive knowledge in the natural stone industry and has founded a major global company in a highly competitive sector. Mr. Collier is a CEO and a business leader with decades of experience in business development, consulting, and strategic planning.
Keith Margetson, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Keith Margetson is a Chartered Accountant, and has been in public accounting for over three decades. He is a member of the British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants and has worked extensively in the public reporting field for the past 15 years. Keith holds a similar position with four other resource based companies.
Stewart Jackson, PhD, P.Geo, Consulting Geologist
Dr. Stewart A. Jackson, is an accomplished mining professional with 50 years of experience in the exploration and development of mineral deposits and in the management of public companies. He has been involved in multiple mineral discoveries and evaluations.
Most recently he has been involved in the delineation of a major uranium, molybdenum, nickel and vanadium resource in Sweden on properties held by Continental Precious Minerals Inc.
Prior to that he was instrumental in the advancement of the Turnagain nickel sulphide deposit of northern British Columbia, Canada , held by Hard Creek Nickel Corporation.
While involved with his initial public company, Crown Resource Corporation in the 1980’s, multiple discoveries of gold were made in the Republic District of Washington State,USA. These continue to be produced by Kinross Gold Corporation.
In the 1970’s he recognized the potential of the enormous Red Dog zinc-lead deposits in western Alaska, and was instrumental in their exploration and development by Cominco American Incorporated (now Teck-Cominco). Red Dog today produces a substantial portion of the world production of zinc from this long-lived zinc resource field.
Subsequently, he was Exploration Manager for Houston Oil and Minerals Corporation during the discovery and development of the Manhattan, South McCoy and Borealis gold deposits of Nevada, USA.
