RE:So many games in the venture!
RE:So many games in the venture!juiced99, yes, these games are played on the Ventures but also on ALL exchanges. Just the stakes are much bigger on the bigger exchanges and little guys are plankton in a sea of sharks the size of whales.
At least here, we're little fish in a sea of sharks you can see! ;-) But even experienced investors/trader like ElectricFuneral wants to give up and escape into the woods with survival kits. :-) So I don't feel so bad! LOL
Look at big board oil for example. WOW! Mega international games with some large companies getting a beating! One I'm tracking got knocked down to a small cap even if the sales alone isn't any close to small cap. It's happening on the NYSE as well. Crazy what's happening there!
I'm so glad I Ventured into the Ventures. It makes me understand the larger games a LOT better.
Right now, I have ZERO trust in ANY market that allows shorting. Shorting should be banned (why allow people to borrow shares they don't own?? WTF?)
That's what created the wealth devastation with VID earlier this year for those who bought on the hype and what makes it a stock you simply can't "buy and forget". That's the ones I like since I'm not a trader.
On the large caps, you can still do that if you buy at the right phase capitulated (low) and sell high (hype).
Boy, if VID takes off and breaks the 50s... this will be sweet. That's my bet right now and the odd are better than gambling seeing VID right now. Unlike some of my real stinker pennies, I truly feel that VID has a great potential to become "investment grade". If the sales match the potential, it will.... Now is NOT the time to sell VID. If people don't understand why sub 10 is so good, read up on the filings!
If you want immediate term, VID might not be a good play, it will take time to simmer but at these prices, it's really safe.
