US Box office totals of movies coming to 3DGO this quarter

US Box office totals of movies coming to 3DGO this quarter3DGO has some of the biggest movies (not just biggest 3D movies) coming this quarter. Just to name a few:

(3) Jurassic World (Oct 20) - $650 million
(8) Avengers Age of Ulton (Oct 2) - $459 million
(29) Inside Out (Nov 3) - $354 million

As I stated in a previous post, when 3DGO! launched to LG a few months ago every film had already been out for some time. Some for many years. Most 3D fans had already seen many of them. So even though users may like the 3DGO! service, there wasn't necessarily a ton of new films for people to choose from.

We are now coming into a period where some of the biggest films of all time are just being released for the first time, and they are being released to 3DGO! the second they are available on blu-ray. That means many 3DGO! users now for the first time have the opportunity to rent the movie on 3DGO! before they've seen it or already bought the 3D blu-ray. I think people will be surprised how much this fact alone will spike movie rentals over the next couple of months. And the timing couldn't be better with the cooler weather upon us, with LG and Samsung launched, and with the holiday season right around the corner.

I bet even Routhier and the team will be surprised at how much of a spike in rentals they see...
