Its a clash between two political parties Congress & BJP. Congress ruled over 10 years before BJP came in power about year and half ago. Congress also kept general public in eye when they promoted investments and offered to double the price . This move to stop doubling to keep the public happy is just their move to win the next elections(arbtrition doesn't listen to this). Few months ago Modi invited Manmohan(ex PM) to talk over the matter. Since than Modi has not said much after taking the gas prices  matter in his hands. Instead they decided to import gas from other countries(reason cux they know if this case gose to the third party they will loose for sure and have to double the price). They reason why they are importing is cux they know any disturbance by these companies could easily double/triple cooking gas prices(black market) and backfire BJP easily. These companies might not get double/triple but general public always pay it when there is even a little disturbance. Believe it or not but that is the ground reality in India. Net-Net GOI loose for sure if third party is involved and that is the reason they decided to quickly sign cheap contracts as much as possible. What a lot of us don't know is GOI could be forced to pay double the price with interest  since Modi government came in power. Note: Why would GOI keep money on side if they don't want to pay them double.   Think about it!! Yeah baby!! According to me good days are close!!   Again its just my opinion.
