Condor, your reasoning is very wrong! Since no money is exchanging hands, only a share swap, the  value for Canexus shares is not a fixed price! Since the CUS shares are actually based on SPB share price, and SPB has dropped big time today, the conversion value as I type this is actually $1.63!
I pointed this out clearly in a previous post today. No money is actually changing hands, therefore it one believes that SPB's share price will drop, it is a no-brianer to sell your CUS shares today!
Sorry folks, but those of you who are still holding the Canexus bag are getting screwed over bigtime by the management of Canexus...
