RE:RE:RE:RE:edit: RE:RE:RE:Japan's a distractionSure! That helps a lot. Interesting that India signed a deal with CCO and not Kazakhstan, which is closer, though. I guess the uranium will come from Australia's CCO mine? Canada is so far away. No?

Denison Mining has some exploration properties in Mongolia, if the economics make sense China may be interested in those properties in the future. Don't know too much about them though, Denison is focusing on their Athabasca basin properties right now.
Kazakhstan will remain the dominent uranium supplier for that whole Asia region for the forseeable future. The proverbial 1-tonne gorilla.
As for Cameco's manufacturing, they are an integrated fuel enricher/supplier. They don't just mine, but also have centrifuges for fuel enrichment & can provide the completed fuel rods to the end utilities. These components on the linked page are typically fuel rods, and not the mechanical parts of the reactor. I haven't looked into how Cameco breaks down it's subsidiaries, but it's definitly a wholly owned business of Cameco's. A couple years ago they also purchased NUKEM, which is now another wholly owned subsidiary, which is a dominent European fuel supplier.
Hope this helps.
