Copper price on the way up

Copper price on the way upThe overwhelming consensus is that copper will hit the $3 range around the end of this year. This according to respectable economists and analysts at the world's largest independent research institutions. These experts have access to some of the world's best data bases listing all the current and pending copper producers, their cash cost per pound, their annual production, their mine life, etc. They know which mines will close or cut production when times are tough, and they know which mines will come on stream under different price assumptions. They have the data needed to forecast supply and demand. Kurd, these institutions will share their wisdom with us, but they will not share their data bases. However, if you want a really good data base that lists all the world's copper mines, cash cost per pound, etc., then contact Brook Hunt in London. They will sell you the rights to use their excellent data base for a few thousand dollars. Kurd, I respect contrarians, but you go way beyond being a contrarian - your assertion that copper will not hit $3 within the next few years is absolutely absurd.
