I agree. No company (in their right mind) will wait for the stock to go up 50% before they decide to make a run at it (unless you are Glencore) lol... If I was above $2.00 per share average cost - I would be buying big time here to ensure I at least get my money back (on a lower price takeover)... I bring this up because I am going through exactly this with the Canexus takeover!! They will forget about all the long term holders who own the stock at higher prices (and rightly so). This brings up the question: If Lundin takes a run at C*UM - what would be a reasonable/fair purchase price? Most likely it will be a share swap I am guessing. Any input will be appreciated.
