Athabasca Oil Corp T.ATH

Alternate Symbol(s):  ATHOF

Athabasca Oil Corporation (AOC) is a Canadian energy company with a focused strategy on the development of thermal and light oil assets. AOC’s segments include Thermal Oil and Duvernay Energy. The Thermal Oil segment consists of two operating oil sands SAGD projects and a large resource base of exploration areas in the Athabasca region of northeastern Alberta. These projects provide Athabasca with a material low-decline production base that generates significant free cash flow for the business. The thermal assets use steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD), which is an enhanced oil recovery technology for producing bitumen. The Duvernay Energy operating segment includes the Company's assets, liabilities, and operations located primarily in the Greater Kaybob area near the town of Fox Creek, Alberta. Its light oil assets are held in a private subsidiary (Duvernay Energy Corporation) in which it owns a 70% equity interest.

Ride out the Storm a little longer ATH, you can do it.

Ride out the Storm a little longer ATH, you can do it. Whether this company is bought out or not, it has excellent resources under the ground. Its stockprice may suffer, they may fire everyone in upper management, but that oil and those reserves will still  be sitting there. I think this is a way undervalued stock. Excellent price for a long-term holder.

Those who bought 8+ It seems unlikely that they may get their money back before an offer comes in from someone looking for a steal. Or may just have to wait 5 years to be above water. Great time to average down though, If i had more money Aug 14? I think it was when we had the correction it would have been even better. Id rather not trade for pennies, and I certainly don't have the balls to short. Im on the fence to bring my COS profits over here, I like LTS too.

Can they ride out the storm a little longer, of course they can. I think its a little foggy how people on this forum perceive how-much oil they will flow a day, but I think tis pretty clear in their NR. Maybe some folks on this forum can pull together a little better.

If it comes back down to 1.50 Ill be back.

Not that anyone should care, jsut my thoughts coming onto the screen.
