RE:russia and oilFrom my experience living in Syria I beleive Russia is truely there to support the Assad gov't. They have always had a presents there. I truly hope they can help stabilize the country. Obviously Russia helping stabilize Syria isn't great for oil as middle east tension will be reduced. It will benefit the people of Syria and reduce the mounting death toll of innocent people.
