Gold seems to be moving upwards relentlessly today.

Here is a question for the board regarding long term investments. If you had $10,000 that you wanted to put away for a long, long time, such a long time that you were going to bury it, what form would you bury it in? Would you bury $10,000 in paper currency or $10,000 equivalent in gold and/or silver coins or bullion? Why?
