RE:RE:BBRYPumper...Chen commented that Blackberry and Google have a good relationship. He went further to say that it is possible that Google Android and Blackberry OS could be merged, taking the best of both. I am sure many android users wil like much about the Blackberry OS features that will cross over to Android on the Priv (ie. Hub, calender, keyboard and typing etc). If the Priv is a success in terms of market adoption with consumers and enterprise, then it would make sense for Google and Blackberry to somehow merge the two OS and both have input into ongoing changes and updates etc......alternately, perhaps the Priv will bring android users to Blackberry once they get addicted to the Hub and other great BB OS features?

While Apple may encounter issues just with teh sheer size of it's app store, it is much more secure than the Android Play platfor. I see where Apple has removed a bunch of apps that may contain malware, however it is well known tha the Play store is full of such apps. If I believed that BB had a way of securing Android (whatever that means), I would buy the stock, as if I am Google I would buy the stock in an instant just for that capability. I just don't see how they can do it from a technical perspecive though, as you have noted, most of the OS would not be under their control.
