RE:Options Expiry Deadline- Oct 16-Shorts Panic as they must...Good points. I have only been gold observer for the past 15 months. It was quite amazing to see AR more than double last January in a matter of weeks.
I am barely understanding the relationship between real gold and fools gold (paper gold). There really isn't that much physical gold out there. I read somewhere that the amount of bullion gold would barely fill a couple of Olympic sized swimming pools.
AR was around 2.40 before the FED hinted at at rate increase. So it would stand to reason that AR would reach back to that level.
Those that have short positions in gold have to be nervous and will have to buy back.
The USD is starting to crack. But the SP 500 is stubbornly high and is positively correlating with gold. With the SP reaching lower highs, I wouldn't bet on equities.
Gold... Are we seeing a new primary trend upward or just a secondary trend in a more or less in a sideways market. Time will tell
