RE:RE:Saleslol....I feel like Mugatu right now (like im taking crazy pills :).....I dont know how to express this any other way...
Total Sales(Qi) = Revenue(Qi) +AR(Qi) - AR(Qi-1)
Set i = 1, AR = AR (trade receivables only)
Total Sales(Q1) = Revenue(Q1) +AR(Q1) - AR(Q4)
Total Sales(Q1) = $111,658 +$50,539 - $3,979
Total Sales(Q1) = $158,218
Thus one can project sales per store for Q1 as $158,218 / 26 stores or 6K/store per Quarter
Inventory is a much better predictor for Total Sales and strangely no one had difficulty with the idea of putting prepaid inventory in with actual inventory to project Q2 Total Sales. I dont understand the difficulty of including sale revenue (to be recieved) with sale revenue (recieved) to get a better understanding of total Q1 Sales.
....now if this idea is still unclear all i can say is......"I am the inventor of the Piano Key Necktie!" ha ha ha ...and I will move on -
- sorry for all that had to suffer this and Good Luck....and Sly I think we should have a Scotch at the AGM instead of a bear :) See you soon
